Experts in the field of health all tend to agree that chronic stress can cause a myriad of health problems such as insomnia, high blood pressure, obesity and can affect our emotions in a negative way and lead to depression.Chronic stress is also one factor that can contribute to body pain. According to the Mayo Clinic “Stress symptoms may be affecting your health, even though you might not realize it. You may think illness is to blame for that nagging headache, your frequent insomnia or your decreased productivity at work. But stress may actually be the culprit.”
Since it is impossible to totally eliminate all the stress from your life, it is important to find healthy ways to cope with daily stress, so it does not start causing health issues.
Healthy Ways to help alleviate Stress:
Choose nutritionally sound meal and snacks. Stay away from fatty food and sweets. This is a no-brainer as a healthy body helps you deal with stress more efficiently. Eliminate or at least cut back on alcohol, coffee and other highly caffeinated beverages, or choose tea which has less caffeine.
Get proper rest at least 8 hours a night if possible.Try to turn off all electronics things like computers, television, at least an hour before you plan to retire for the night. Make sure your room is completely dark and free from distraction. Sometimes sleeping with the window open when safety and weather permits, can also help you get a more restful sleep!
Get physically active This is a proven method for decreasing stress levels, but you need to do it regularly. For the most benefit it should be at least four times a week for a minimum of thirty minutes. Physical activity doesn’t have to be a workout at a gym . A brisk walk in the outdoors if weather is permitting will benefit you tremendously.
Talk to a friend They say that problems shared are halved, so find a close friend or family member and talk about how your are feeling. Sometimes just getting it off your chest can help immensely.
Try alternative methods, Yoga, meditation, Tai Chi and breathing & relaxation techniques are also healthy ways to cope with the stress in your life.
For “natural pain management” try holistic pain management products
For pain management, I highly recommend Sprouting Wheat or what I call a “doctor in the bottle“. This product is made from a special hard winter wheat called Triticum Aestivum that is sprouted. This product comes in two types of sprays. Triticum clear which is non-straining and Triticum gold which is stronger but does stain. For more information on a Doctor in the Bottle click here. For information on how to use the product and for testimonials please visit and like our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/sproutinghealth .
